"The desire to create and make something beautiful out of nothing began for me early on. With my mom's natural flair for making something out of nothing- cooking from scratch, using everything from our garden- organic products, making candles, jams & pickles-even some furniture out of recycled metal - I was fascinated! I began collecting wild flowers on hikes creating bouquets to decorate our home in Lake Tahoe at the age of 10 and started rearranging furniture and staging our home by 16. Nature and all of it's elements amazes me at so many levels. Design, beauty and space all inspire me to create my own beautiful designs and environments."

Starting at an early age, I was influenced by nature and design. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, I grew up in a small beach town very close to San Francisco. I learned about flowers and plants by watching and gardening with my mother, an avid gardener and joining my mom and my sister on long drives down the coast to nurseries in Half Moon Bay when I was a little girl.

Moving to San Francisco in my early 20's, I studied Floral Design and Horticulture for several years and began my very layered career of 25 years in Design; I started my own Design company, focusing on weddings and private homes. In addition, I freelanced and became one of the Senior Designers for Stanlee Gatti,  where I worked on million dollar weddings and events for nine years. From Stanlee's I went on to study Interior Design, while still continuing to do weddings and quickly stepped into a Senior Interior Design role for Arthur McLaughlin and Associates in San Francisco, focusing on a high end residential clientele.

Today, I bring all of my design experience forward, creating my own unique Organic style, which is classic, yet simple, sophisticated and organic. I am currently taking a hiatus from Floral Design and Interior Design and focusing my attention on writing books; “ Wedding Grace and Wisdom,” helping Brides & Grooms planning a Wedding through mindful planning and balance, using my professional and personal experience. Also, A Brides Memoir and Brides Stories are coming soon. Beyond writing, you can find me in my Design Studio losing myself in my paintings of Nature, Landscapes and Still Life’s. Mostly, you can find me in Nature, taking walks and photos to paint and cuddling with my two cats Jack Marmalade and Jillie Bean and my husband. I feel so fortunate to be doing work I love to do and for all of my former design work that has brought me here today.
